Fahrenheit 451 Reflection

Yeah! i finish the first part of the Fahrenheit 451--- the hearth and salamander. Inside the story were sometimes complicated, but still, it use a lot of figurative language, like hyperbole, symbolized, personification, simile or imagery. The author use the animal names to name the technology that he imagine(which really oucrr in our life today) he state the time in the early 1800's or 1900's. A time where people were forbidden to read books, or own it. fire men are not illegal, and it is part of the government. And people should not have individual thinking, or hiking, seeing nature, if you have, you would see as a stranger. i think this story is hard to understand, but if you read more carefully, you will find out many things! i recommend people to read this book!

Fahrenheit 451

Today I start to read Fahrenheit 451, the story use many figurative language, like metaphor, personification, simile, or dramatic irony. Now I only started for ten pages. But I can fell that the story begin to change from exposition to climax, slowly rising. And the story is quite good, as long as i understand is the most important.

Macbeth Project

This time, our English project was about Macbeth scenes. When the first time i heard about this topic, i did not have any interest on it, i just think that "oh! It was just another board and formal topic" but when I started to research some information for my own part, which i will be Lady Macbeth, I kind of inspirited Shakespeare, the way he express Lady Macbeth ambitious and ruthless of her inner side was potent and strong. As the result, during this project, i learn how to connected with my teammate, how to research for a good answer and many other things. I hope we can have more project to do in the future.

the trip to Singapore and Malaysia

the last two week i went to Singapore and Malaysia . Both country were very humid and hot. First, we went to Malaysia; and the most impressive things i have remember was the rain forest. the tour guide had taught us about different kind of leaves. Some leaves can make antibiotic to stop bleeding or to prevent Bacteris and virus get into the wound and cause infection. I learn a lot of things. But the rest of the trip in Malaysia was not that good. the hotel was dirty, cruel with ants and other insects, and the toilet were even dirty then Taiwan! However, the food were very delicious over there@ Curly was the most favoriate food in Malaysia . IAt the last five days, we were in Singapore. I like this country compare to Malaysia. It was clean, the traffic was very order, the variety to shop with, and the food was also wonderful. The chicken rice was my favorite food at that time:) the most impressive thing i think was their education. Whether you were poor or rich, all the children in Singapore would fore to be educated. the government would support each child money to go to school. And in Dun Ming high school; everyone can only pay for the biggest maxium of 32 dollars for one semester. That was way more cheaper that our school! I hope i could go to Singapore to study.

Romeo and Juliet homework reflection

After reading the first part of the reader, Romeo and Juliet, i think that both of them are really deeply full in love with each other. Although, they are born in the family which are enemy to each other, but the challenge did not stop their love. I think some part is really irony, like the part that Romeo first fall in love with Rosaline; everyday think of her, cry about her. But after when he see Juliet in the party, he is totally fall in love with her. And he suddenly forget Rosaline. It symblize that what kind of man is Romeo. The end of the story is quit sad, because both Julie and Romeo died. when i read this part, i always think that if Romeo did not come back to the town, he will see the letter, then Julie wouldn't died, and it will be a happy ending. In conclusion, i did not like this story.
